Cramer’s Point doesn’t have its own waterfront on Lake George, but we’re fortunate to have access to a private beach just a short walk from our motel and cabins. It’s a fantastic addition to the great amenities we offer guests, but it’s important to understand how our beach access works.

Our Property Isn’t on the Waterfront: Please understand that our Lake George Motel & Cabins property is NOT located on the waterfront. This is a private beach that’s shared with us by residential property owners.

Beach Association Guidelines: Our Guests need to follow the guidelines set by the beach association. Here’s what you need to know:

Beach usage is at the sole risk of the Guest.
All Guests must respect the Beach and neighboring homeowners,
Follow the signs on the trail to the beach. Guests MAY NOT trespass on private property. Do not walk on driveways or lawns under any circumstances.
The beach is not open before 9am or after 7pm and there is NO LIFEGUARD on duty.
Please pack in and pack out all items, debris, garbage, and equipment each time you access the beach.
We cannot accept guest-owned boats at the beach.
Beach privileges can be revoked for any misconduct.

Please respect these rules as this isn’t our property and we want to be respectful of our neighbors on the Lake.

Beach Access is Limited: There’s an approximately 500-foot-long hiking path that leads from Cramer’s Point to the shared waterfront. The terrain on the path to the beach is uneven and slightly steep which may create challenges for individuals with mobility issues. There is no road access to the waterfront, so walking is the only option for getting to the beach.

It’s a Great Place to Have Fun: The private beach offers a small swimming area and Cramer’s Point provides a variety of complimentary canoes and rowboats (please use the provided life preservers) for guest use on a first come first serve basis. It’s 125 feet of shoreline in a secluded spot that offers plenty of space, a low-key atmosphere, and a great view of the Adirondacks.
