Lake George Beaches
Build a sand castle, swim in the lake, or enjoy a family picnic at one of our clean and sandy beaches. Million Dollar Beach is the largest and most popular spot, while Usher Park Beach is ideal for smaller children. There’s also Shepard Park Beach in the heart of Lake George Village, and Rogers Memorial Park Beach and Veteran’s Memorial Park Beach in Bolton Landing.
Warren County Bikeway
Bring the bikes and take a ride on the scenic Warren County Bikeway. This 9.4-mile bike path connects the Village of Lake George with the City of Glens Falls, and takes riders through a canopy of trees and past unique historic sites. There are also picnic tables, benches and scenic spots to take a break along the way, and Sprinkles ice cream shop is visible just off the path in Queensbury NY.
Mini Golf & Go-Karts
Enjoy a little family-friendly competition on the go-kart track or the putting green. Ride the coasters, cool off on the water rides, or watch the shows at Six Flags Great Escape & Hurricane Harbor. Enjoy hundreds of rides and entertainment for adults and kids of all ages, or step back in time at Lake George Expedition Park, where you can walk among life-sized dinosaurs in Dino Roar Valley, and ride the Tilt-a-Whirl in the Magic Forest.
Adventure Sports
Test your skills on the aerial adventure course and zipline park at Adirondack Extreme, brave the rapids on a whitewater rafting trip with Sacandaga Outdoor Center, or enjoy a lazy river float with Tubby Tubes.
